UOMZ presented the newest optical-electronic system GOES-321Ì (337Ì) to the leaders of the Ministry of Defence
In the course of the exhibition the company stand was visited by the government delegation composed of V.À. Popovkin, Deputy Minister of Defence of RF, Î.V. Barmin, Deputy Head of Armaments of Russian Air Force, À.B. Shibitov, General Director of public corporation «Russian Helicopters». They were shown a line of optical-electronic systems both of civil and military application, produced by the plant. In particular, it comes to the latest gyrostabilized optical-electronic system GOES-321Ì(337Ì) intended for installation at combat helicopters Mi-17. Eminent guests got acquainted with advantages of optical-electronic articles in comparison with their imported analogues.
The stand of Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant was also visited by N.F. Gavrilov, Head of Aviation Department of the Russian Federal Security Service, R.À. Chernyshov, Chief Executive Officer of public corporation «Kamov», À.À. Mikheev, Deputy General Director of «Rosoboronexport».
During the exhibition the plant representatives have held a number of important talks with official representatives of large manufacturers of helicopter equipment - Robinson Helicopter Company and Eurocopter, companies Patria Helicopters AB, (Sweden), public corporation «Kamov», close corporation «Tranzas», State Enterprise «Orshansky aircraft repair and overhaul plant» (Belarus) and many other Russian and foreign companies.
We would remind you that along with the gyrostabilized optical-electronic system GOES-321Ì (337Ì) UOMZ brought to HeliRussia-2009 a number of civil optical surveillance systems including system SON-730, modular system SON-Ì, small-sized systems SON -820 and SON -910.
