UOMZ masters the medical equipment market of Malaysia

In accordance with the signed contract, the UOMZ will supply more than 30 OFN-02 phototherapy lamps and several IDN-02 neonatal incubators. According to Anton Yuzefovich, Sales director of civil production of the FSUE “PA”UOMZ”, the plant would ship the medical equipment to the buyer until the end of September.

It should be noted, to give a complete picture, that an agreement signing has followed a large preliminary work. The Malaysian party had first shown an interest in the products of the Urals optical and mechanical plant at Dusseldorf, at the Medica-2008 exhibition. In the spring 2009, the “PA”UOMZ” via “TriAlpTek” company, its Swiss branch office, and the “MED TECH” firm signed the first contract, in accordance with which the pilot batch of neonatal equipment produced by UOMZ was sent to Kuala-Lumpur. During operation and under clinical conditions, the UOMZ products have shown themselves to the best advantage.

As a result, a new contract was signed already in August 2009, presupposing the large-scale supply of phototherapy irradiators and incubators for the newborns. According to the experts of the civil product sales direction of the Urals enterprise, “the supply of the medical equipment to Malaysia will continue, since the plant, as a matter of fact, has found an adequate dealer in this country of Southeast Asia”
