UOMZ is to host the meeting of the International association of developers, manufacturers and users of medical equipment

Decision on the conduction of the regular 41^st meeting of the International association of developers, manufacturers and users of medical equipment (Non-commercial partnership “MOMT”) based at the UOMZ was made at the previous forum of the Association members in Ruedesheim (Germany). Official representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Federal Service for the Supervision of Public Service and Social Development, as well as at about 50 executives of the medical firms of Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and other countries will arrive at Yekaterinburg on the 22^nd of September. In fact, Yekaterinburg is presented in the NP “MOMT” by two enterprises, developers and manufacturers of the medical equipment: the Urals optical and mechanical plant and the Urals instrument making plant.

During this regular meeting of the Association, it is planned to discuss the current state of the medical equipment production in the Russian Federation, interaction and mutual influence of the national markets of medical equipment. Furthermore, the issues of equipment testing and certification will be addressed as usual.

The non-commercial partnership “International association of developers, manufacturers and users of medical equipment” (NP “MOMT”) has been formed and working since 1994. The organization was founded with the purpose of coordinating the efforts of its members to expand their opportunities in the scientific, administrative, educational, social, productive development, combination of their material and financial resources, as well as organizational opportunities for performing the activity on personnel training in the sphere of production and realization of medical hardware and equipment. Presently, the NP “MOMT” unites approximately 50 companies from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Germany, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Macedonia.
