UOMZ Visited by Delegation of Ministry of Industry and Commerce

The visit agenda turned out to be full of content and included the survey of the machining process and microelectronic production sections, visit of the currently built area for the production of lighting clusters, medical equipment assembly area and a number of other sections of the plant.

Mr. Sergey Valerievich Maksin, General Director of the Enterprise, showed Mr. Denis Manturov the current activity and the prospects of the enterprise development, the implemented innovation and investment policy, as well as the new areas of manufactured products.

The visit of the “Luch” plant sports complex where Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of the RF has been particularly familiarized with the project of a new modern track-and-field stadium, was a special item of the agenda. If the project is implemented, Yekaterinburg will have an athletic facility of All-Russian significance able to accommodate track-and-field contests of the highest international level.

Mr. Denis Manturov has expressed gratification about the things seen at one of the largest instrument making enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region, having noted an excellent organization of the production process and a big innovative potential.
